Deliver Our Valentine’s Day Card to Your Legislators (In Person or By Email)

This annual statewide advocacy event takes place on Valentineโ€™s Day, Feb. 14, 2025. We invite you to remind Texas policymakers to โ€œhave a heartโ€ for The Arc of Texas, Texans with IDD, and direct support professionals who provide crucial supports to help them live in their communities of choice instead of isolated in institutions.

Tour Across Texas

Coming to a chapter near you!

We hit the road every other summer before the Texas Legislative Session starts to visit chapters of The Arc of Texas across the state. Itโ€™s a chance to visit with staff, volunteers and participants of our local chapters, meet folks in local disability communities, learn about The Arc of Texasโ€™ public policy pillars, and get advocacy tips to help influence state-levl public policies affecting people with IDD. RSVP for an event near you.
