What is Advocacy?
Advocacy is when you inform policymakers about an issue you care about so they understand how their decisions impact peopleโs lives. This is how we influence public policy, which addresses a public issue through laws, regulations, and programs developed by governments.
Learn how to advocate by checking out our Policy Pillars and our Advocacy Toolkit, created for folks who want to learn how to make their voice heard by elected officials.
Find Your Rep
Find who represents you at the state level (your elected officials) and get their contact information by entering one of these: your street address, city, zip code, or county. Itโs easy!
